Senior Auditor – Government Entity (UAE)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Auditor to join a prominent Government of Dubai entity. The role involves auditing and verifying compliance across administrative, operational, and financial domains, delivering independent reports and recommendations to enhance effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct risk‑assessment interviews with department managers.
• Help prepare the strategic and annual internal audit plan based on risk results.
• Execute audit tasks in financial, operational, legal, and technical areas with professional care.
• Ensure the quality of internal auditors' work and develop risk‑based audit programs.
• Perform special assignments such as investigations, advisory services, fraud reviews, and risk‑management assessments.
• Prepare draft reports for quality assurance and identify continuous‑improvement opportunities.
• Maintain proper audit documentation, report conflicts of interest, and perform any other related duties.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in government or semi‑government organisations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Auditing, Risk Management, Finance or equivalent; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, CMA or CFE.
• UAE passport and Family Book.
