Senior Construction Manager – PMC

About the role

Wood is seeking an experienced PMC Senior Construction Manager to lead the planning and execution of civil works, on‑shore fabrication, and offshore transportation for ADNOC Gas projects in Abu Dhabi. The role is based on‑site and requires direct management of construction teams to meet client and shareholder expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead on‑island and on‑shore construction teams, ensuring execution certainty and compliance with project procedures.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, detailed schedules, and cost estimates, monitoring budgets and suggesting cost‑effective alternatives.
• Oversee contractor planning and execution, manage interfaces with ADNOC Offshore OPCO, and ensure minimal disruption to production.
• Champion safety, develop integrated safety plans, and ensure compliance with safety policies across all construction activities.
• Report progress, performance, and issues to the project team and facilitate communication among all stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (essential).
• Minimum 20 years of experience on large oil and gas projects, including offshore and brownfield experience.
• Proven leadership and communication skills across multicultural teams.
• Extensive experience managing construction of civil works, precast, and offshore installations.
