Senior Consultant – Economic Strategy

About the role

The Senior Consultant will support the strategic development and execution of Dubai’s economic policies and growth initiatives. Reporting to senior leadership, the role combines project management, analytical research, and stakeholder engagement to drive sustainable economic development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex economic projects from planning through delivery, ensuring governance, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.
• Assist in formulating and refining Dubai’s economic growth, cost‑competitiveness, and policy strategies.
• Conduct detailed analyses of existing development programs, identify improvement areas, and recommend enhancements.
• Collaborate on special projects targeting key economic sectors aligned with the Dubai Economic Agenda.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to support decision‑making.
• Engage with private‑sector partners and clients to align expectations with Dubai’s economic objectives.
• Represent the Economic Strategy Department in local and regional economic forums.
• Evaluate economic feasibility of initiatives and provide recommendations for continuation or modification.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Economics, Economic Policy, Public Policy, Statistics, or a closely related field.
• Professional certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Analytics Professional.
• Proven experience in leading strategic projects within economic or public‑policy environments.
• Strong analytical abilities and experience with performance analysis and economic research.
