Senior Contract Manager

About the role

ASGC is looking for an experienced Senior Contract Manager to lead the contractual and commercial management of large‑scale civil, building and high‑rise projects across the United Arab Emirates. The role covers the full project lifecycle, from tender review and contract negotiation to execution, completion and final account settlement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead contractual and commercial management of multiple construction projects.
• Review tender documents, contracts, specifications, drawings and commercial terms before award.
• Identify and mitigate contractual, commercial, legal and financial risks.
• Negotiate contracts with clients, consultants, JV partners, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Prepare, review and administer main contracts, sub‑contracts, consultancy agreements and purchase orders.
• Ensure project teams comply with notice requirements, timelines and documentation procedures.
• Prepare and submit variation, extension‑of‑time, disruption and loss‑and‑expense claims.
• Develop claim strategies supported by records, programmes, cost data and contractual provisions.
• Assess subcontractor and supplier claims and coordinate responses.
• Work with planning teams to evaluate delays, critical‑path impacts and associated costs.
• Monitor milestones, payment terms, insurance, bonds, guarantees, warranties and liquidated damages.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, primarily with established main contractors.
• Strong background in contract administration, claims management, commercial risk, subcontract management and dispute resolution.
• Extensive knowledge of FIDIC and other standard construction contracts.
