Senior Contract Manager

About the role

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an experienced Senior Contract Manager to lead contract and commercial activities for a large residential development in Abu Dhabi. The role involves overseeing the full contract lifecycle, from tender preparation to post‑award administration, ensuring compliance with client and internal requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Review, interpret and apply contracts and framework agreements.
• Draft contract particulars, appendices and tender documentation.
• Lead tender negotiations, analyse offers and provide recommendations.
• Negotiate contract conditions and manage contractual correspondence.
• Assess and improve pre‑ and post‑contract processes on site and in the office.
• Coordinate with consultants, evaluate compliance and report on contractual obligations.
• Support change management and project controls throughout the delivery phase.

Required profile

• Degree qualified (BSc or MSc) and professionally recognised (MRICS or FRICS).
• Minimum 10 years of senior‑level experience delivering large, multi‑functional construction or engineering projects.
• Experience in Western markets (USA, Canada, Europe) and the Middle East is preferred.
• Strong negotiation, claims handling and commercial acumen.
• Ability to build effective relationships with clients, consultants and internal teams.
