Senior Data Centre Advanced Systems Engineer

About the role

Eaton is looking for a Senior Data Centre Advanced Systems Engineer to join its Global Data Centre organisation in Dubai. The role focuses on evaluating emerging technologies, developing future data‑centre capabilities and supporting the evolution of next‑generation mission‑critical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Research and assess emerging technologies and future data‑centre architectures across AI infrastructure, power, cooling, digital infrastructure and grid integration.
• Conduct technical readiness and engineering feasibility studies for new concepts.
• Lead proof‑of‑concept activities and innovation programmes.
• Validate system concepts through engineering studies, technical assessments and technology evaluations.
• Support the transition of validated concepts into future engineering standards and methodologies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in data‑centre engineering or related advanced systems engineering.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate technology trends and assess feasibility.
• Ability to work collaboratively with solutions architects, product management and engineering teams.
• Experience in developing engineering studies and technical documentation.
