Senior Data Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to design and build the core data infrastructure that powers our AI‑driven supply chain platform. You will create defense‑grade Data Lakehouse environments, integrate complex enterprise systems, and enable real‑time analytics for critical procurement and defense workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deploy secure Data Lakehouse architectures that serve as the single source of truth for AI‑enabled supply chain intelligence.
• Lead Workstream 1 (Data & Platform Foundations), mapping and integrating SAP S/4HANA, Ariba, PLM and other enterprise systems.
• Build high‑performance ingestion pipelines to extract transactional data from ERP systems and make it available near real‑time for forecasting models.
• Develop connectors for external market intelligence feeds such as S&P Global, Orbis and EcoVadis.
• Define and implement a standardized procurement data model and taxonomy across multiple entities.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and operating large‑scale data platforms in highly secure environments.
• Strong background in integrating structured ERP data and unstructured sources (technical drawings, regulatory documents).
• Ability to work within agile “Sprint Zero” frameworks and ensure data lineage, security and compliance.
