Senior Data Scientist (VP)

About the role

This senior position leads the design and deployment of advanced time‑series forecasting and predictive analytics models that support investment decisions across private markets. The role sits within a growing data‑science function and works closely with investment professionals to turn complex data into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and operationalise sophisticated forecasting and predictive models for investment applications.
• Collaborate with portfolio and investment teams to extract insights from large, complex datasets.
• Establish best practices in statistical modelling, machine learning, and quantitative research.
• Mentor and grow a team of data scientists, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Evaluate and integrate innovative analytical approaches to improve forecasting accuracy and portfolio insight.

Required profile

• Significant experience in data science, quantitative analytics, or a related field within financial services or asset management.
• Proven track record leading or mentoring data‑science teams and managing complex analytical projects.
• Strong expertise in time‑series analysis, forecasting models, predictive analytics and statistical methodologies.
• Familiarity with AI or generative‑AI concepts is advantageous, though deep LLM expertise is not required.
