Senior Design Manager – Infrastructure & Buildings

About the role

Hill International is expanding its team for a large‑scale mixed‑use development in the UAE. The Senior Design Manager – Infrastructure & Buildings will lead the design effort for the infrastructure and building components of the project, ensuring high‑quality deliverables from concept through construction documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full design lifecycle from concept, schematic, detailed design to IFC stage.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to integrate architectural, structural, MEP and civil disciplines.
• Ensure timely submission of all design deliverables in line with approved schedules.
• Monitor design progress, identify deviations and report to senior management.
• Liaise with local authorities to secure approvals and comply with regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 10+ years of design and engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a design‑management role.
• Proven experience on large‑scale infrastructure, mixed‑use or urban projects.
• Background working in a PMC or consultancy environment.
• Familiarity with UAE authority approval processes.
