Senior DevOps Engineer (Linux & Automation)

About the role

Cognitive is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a hyper‑growth organization in Abu Dhabi. You will design, implement and maintain Linux‑based infrastructure, ensuring reliable and efficient operation of systems across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain Linux servers, networking, and storage solutions.
• Build and manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestration tools.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab CI and TeamCity.
• Automate tasks with shell and Python scripts, and manage configuration with Ansible.
• Collaborate with development teams to support application deployments and troubleshoot issues.
• Stay current with DevOps tools and best practices to continuously improve processes.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Linux administration, and networking.
• Strong understanding of IP addressing, subnetting, and routing.
• Proven ability to work independently and mentor junior engineers.
