Senior DevOps Engineer (m/f/d)

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build and operate large‑scale production‑grade Azure environments. The role covers the full delivery chain from CI/CD and infrastructure to observability, security and cost optimisation on a modern, Azure‑native, micro‑services platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain end‑to‑end CI/CD pipelines for complex micro‑services across all environments.
• Own and evolve Azure infrastructure components such as AKS, Front Door, Application Gateway, APIM and ACR.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code and GitOps practices using Terraform, ARM templates and tools like ArgoCD or Flux.
• Embed security (DevSecOps) into the delivery lifecycle with SAST, DAST, SCA, container and secret scanning.
• Drive observability through Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics and distributed tracing.
• Champion FinOps by monitoring, allocating and optimising cloud spend.
• Contribute to AI‑augmented DevOps initiatives on Azure AI Foundry and Azure OpenAI.

Required profile

• 8+ years of hands‑on experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering.
• Proven ability to own production systems end‑to‑end and automate repetitive tasks.
• Strong curiosity about applying AI/ML to platform engineering.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills for troubleshooting performance and cost issues.
