About the role
We are looking for a Senior Engine Performance Engineer to join POWERTECH, the propulsion centre of excellence within EDGE. You will lead thermodynamic cycle analysis for turbofan engines, supporting design, optimisation and validation from concept through certification and in‑service support.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed engine thermodynamic cycle models.
- Define engine decks, operating envelopes and performance targets.
- Collaborate with the aircraft performance team to optimise specific fuel consumption (SFC), thrust, thermal efficiency and mission performance.
- Provide architectural advice and ensure consistency across system integration.
- Support test planning, instrumentation and post‑test analysis.
Required profile
- Master’s degree or PhD in Aerospace Engineering, Turbomachinery or Fluid Dynamics.
- 8+ years of experience with turbofan architecture, compressor‑turbine matching and engine operability.
- Fluent English communication skills.
