Senior Engineer – Infrastructure Projects

About the role

Excelerate Energy is seeking a Senior Engineer to join its Infrastructure team in Dubai. The role supports both new and existing LNG and gas transmission projects, working closely with Operations, Commercial and Engineering colleagues to deliver safe, reliable energy infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of on‑shore and off‑shore gas transmission pipelines and LNG loading terminals.
• Apply Stage‑Gate Project Development processes from feasibility through FEED, detailed design and EPC phases.
• Prepare technical scopes of work for site investigations, pre‑feasibility studies, cost estimates, schedules and risk assessments.
• Manage external contractors and vendors, defining project scope, schedule and budget.
• Review and approve submittals from consultants to ensure compliance with contractual and engineering standards.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in gas transmission and pipeline design (both on‑shore and off‑shore).
• Proven track record with LNG terminal infrastructure design.
• Strong familiarity with Stage‑Gate development and Front End Engineering Design (FEED) processes.
• Ability to conduct feasibility, pre‑FEED and detailed design studies, including cost and schedule estimation.
• Excellent project management skills, including contractor and vendor coordination.
