Senior Engineer, Projects QA&QC

About the role

The Senior Engineer, Projects QA&QC provides expert guidance on quality management for assigned projects, ensuring compliance with ISO 9000 series standards and ADNOC policies. The role safeguards technical integrity across engineering, materials, equipment, and construction phases.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement project‑specific quality management requirements.
• Review and approve contractors' QA/QC plans, inspection and testing procedures.
• Monitor QA/QC activities throughout design, construction and commissioning to prevent non‑conformities.
• Participate in vendor and field inspection strategy, including selection and oversight of third‑party inspection (TPI) agencies.
• Conduct technical and compliance audits, coordinate audit teams, and verify physical compliance.
• Provide feedback on PMC performance and TPI utilization, recommending remedial actions.
• Support budgeting for the quality department and train staff on relevant quality practices.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in QA/QC within large‑scale engineering or oil & gas projects.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9000 series and corporate quality standards.
• Proven ability to lead audits, inspections and vendor assessments.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on preventive actions.
