Senior Event Manager – Luxury Events & Operations

About the role

The Big Night is a Dubai‑based luxury event management and creative agency producing high‑end private, corporate and social events. As a Senior Event Manager you will own the planning and operational delivery of luxury events from confirmation through execution and wrap‑up, working closely with the Creative Director and wider team.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery of multiple events, creating comprehensive timelines, production schedules and task trackers.
• Lead and supervise event coordinators and junior team members, delegating responsibilities clearly.
• Coordinate logistics including production, entertainment, décor, technical requirements, staffing, transportation and venue operations.
• Maintain organised event documentation and ensure information is accessible to the entire team.
• Take control during live events, managing timings, teams, suppliers and unforeseen issues calmly.

Required profile

• Exceptionally organised, detail‑oriented and proactive – you fix gaps before they become problems.
• Strong communicator, comfortable interacting with clients, venues and suppliers in a luxury environment.
• Calm and solutions‑focused under pressure, able to make independent decisions without constant approval.
• Commercially aware, mindful of budgets and project parameters.

Required skills

• Proficiency with project management tools.
• Advanced use of spreadsheets for scheduling and documentation.
• Experience creating and maintaining detailed event documentation.
