Senior Finance Analyst – IT SOX/Internal Auditor

About the role

Visa is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to join its Global SOX Team in Dubai. The role focuses on assessing and testing IT control design and operating effectiveness for key financial systems, supporting SOX 404 compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Review walkthrough documentation, test control effectiveness, and report identified issues.
• Support IT controls meetings with control owners, external auditors, and SOX team members.
• Document test results using Visa workpaper templates for internal and external review.
• Assess control exceptions, communicate issues, and help develop remediation action plans.
• Contribute to planning and executing the annual IT SOX program and support non‑SOX project documentation.
• Manage day‑to‑day interactions with external auditors regarding control matters.

Required profile

• 7+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 5+ years with a master’s/MBA.
• Professional certifications such as ACCA, CISA or equivalent preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills, with ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Detail‑oriented, highly accountable team player with solid project‑management abilities.
