Senior Finance Executive – Accounts Payable (Real Estate & Contracting)

About the role

The Cost Control, Accounts Payable and Reporting Specialist will ensure financial efficiencies through accurate cost booking, timely invoice processing and robust reporting. The role focuses on digital transformation and automation to streamline AP processes and improve operational accuracy across Al-Futtaim Real Estate and Contracting.

Key responsibilities

• Validate invoices and supporting documents, book GRN/costs, and follow internal approval and VAT guidelines.
• Manage monthly batch payment runs, minimize out‑of‑cycle payments and process exceptional payment requests with proper approvals.
• Maintain vendor advance and GR/IR ageing reports, reconcile vendor accounts and clear long‑outstanding items.
• Identify automation opportunities, support implementation of tools such as M‑Files, SAP, OCR and AI for invoice validation and exception handling.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT and Shared Services to deploy robotics, self‑service reporting and workflow enhancements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in accounts payable, cost control or a comparable financial role.
• Proficiency with SAP and workflow automation tools.
• Strong analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
