Senior Finance Manager – Group Finance Leadership

About the role

This senior finance position is based in Abu Dhabi within a family holding group. Reporting to the Group Finance Director, you will lead the finance function across the group and its subsidiaries, ensuring robust financial controls, accurate reporting, and strategic support for business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor group‑wide financial policies and procedures.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual financial and management accounts, including MIS reporting.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements, actual‑vs‑budget analyses and present them to senior management.
• Provide guidance to subsidiary finance teams on policy adoption, reporting frameworks and regulatory compliance.
• Manage company payments, payroll and daily accounting transactions.
• Drive performance by delivering real‑time financial analysis and cost‑reduction insights.
• Set statutory and management reporting deadlines for subsidiaries and ensure timely, accurate submissions.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and conduct quarterly budget‑vs‑actual reviews.
• Supervise a direct team of five and coordinate an indirect team of over fifteen staff members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting or related field; MBA in Finance is a plus.
• Professional qualifications such as CA, ACCA or CPA are advantageous.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in financial control and reporting, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Proven track record in developing financial policies, budgeting and performance management.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, non‑profit standards and funds management.
• Excellent written and verbal English; Arabic is beneficial.
