Senior Finance Manager – Retail, Wholesale & E‑commerce

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Finance Manager to lead the finance function across retail, wholesale and e‑commerce channels in Dubai. Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for financial planning & analysis, accounting, taxation and VAT compliance for the GCC region, supporting business growth while ensuring financial integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and long‑term financial planning for all business channels.
• Provide actionable insights through variance analysis, KPI development and financial modelling.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and GCC tax laws, manage filings, reconciliations and audits.
• Support retail, wholesale and e‑commerce teams with financial analysis, pricing strategies and investment evaluations.
• Monitor working capital, inventory and cash flow, driving cost‑optimization initiatives.
• Lead, mentor and develop the finance team across multiple functions.
• Collaborate with operations, supply chain and sales, acting as a key finance business partner to senior leadership.
• Manage relationships with auditors, banks and regulatory authorities.
• Drive ERP upgrades, automation of routine accounting tasks and continuous process improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA or CMA) – mandatory; MBA in Finance is a plus.
• 8‑12+ years of progressive finance experience, including 3‑5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience in the retail sector, preferably multi‑store or multi‑channel environments.
• Experience in the GCC/MENA region with strong knowledge of local tax regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and influence senior stakeholders.
