Senior Finance Systems Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Finance Systems Specialist to lead the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations modules across our multi‑entity, multi‑currency environment. The role bridges finance stakeholders and the technical delivery team, driving process optimisation and ensuring successful go‑live and hypercare support.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end implementation of D365 Finance & Operations finance modules (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank Management, Budgeting).
• Design and configure solutions for multi‑entity, multi‑currency operations and high‑volume transaction processing.
• Conduct business process workshops, capture requirements and produce Functional and Solution Design Documents.
• Collaborate with the D365 implementation partner and internal technical teams to define customisations, integrations and data migration strategies.
• Identify and drive process‑automation opportunities using standard D365 features and Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Power BI).
• Act as primary escalation point for critical functional issues, coordinating resolution with partners and Microsoft support.
• Plan and manage UAT cycles, develop test scripts, track defects and obtain sign‑off.
• Create end‑user training materials and deliver training sessions for the finance team.
• Provide go‑live, hyper‑care support and knowledge transfer to internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations in medium to large enterprises.
• Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate (MB‑310).
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
• Proven ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments and deliver high‑quality documentation under tight timelines.
