Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

About the role

Al Boom Marine (ABM) is seeking a highly motivated Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to lead the finance function across its Retail, Wholesale and E‑commerce channels in the GCC. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the role combines strategic FP&A, taxation, VAT compliance and team leadership to support business growth and financial integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and long‑term financial planning for all business channels.
• Provide actionable insights through variance analysis, KPI monitoring and financial modelling.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and GCC tax laws, manage filings, reconciliations and audits.
• Support Retail, Wholesale and E‑commerce teams with pricing strategies, investment evaluation and working‑capital management.
• Drive cost‑optimization initiatives while safeguarding growth.
• Mentor and develop a multi‑function finance team and act as a finance business partner to senior leadership.
• Manage relationships with auditors, banks and regulatory authorities.
• Lead or support ERP upgrades and financial system improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior FP&A roles within retail or multi‑channel environments.
• Strong understanding of GCC taxation and VAT compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to influence strategic decisions and improve profitability.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills.

Required skills

• Financial modelling and analysis.
