Senior Geotechnical Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to lead the design, investigation and construction support of geotechnical aspects across a variety of infrastructure, transportation and building projects in Dubai. The role involves delivering robust foundations, earthworks and ground‑improvement solutions while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Perform engineering design and analysis for geotechnical projects with minimal supervision.
• Plan, manage and interpret geotechnical investigations, including drilling, sampling and laboratory testing.
• Develop foundation, earthworks and ground‑improvement designs and produce calculations, drawings and specifications.
• Conduct advanced numerical analysis to assess stability and settlement.
• Identify design discrepancies, evaluate risks and propose corrective actions.
• Provide technical support during construction, site inspections and contractor coordination.
• Mentor junior engineers and ensure delivery within budget, schedule and quality standards.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in geotechnical engineering, preferably in the Middle East.
• Proven ability to lead complex investigations and design tasks.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with structural, civil and construction teams.
• Professional engineering registration or equivalent qualification.
