Senior Head of Commodity Financing Solutions

About the role

As the Senior Head of Commodity Financing Solutions, you will lead the development and execution of commodity finance strategies for ADCB's Corporate & Investment Banking Group. You will shape the business, drive growth, and ensure high‑quality service for a diverse client base across the MENA region.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the formulation, implementation and delivery of the Group’s strategy in line with ADCB’s vision, mission and priorities.
• Translate strategic objectives into operational business plans and monitor performance against targets.
• Lead acquisition of new commodity finance clients and expand relationships with existing customers.
• Maintain long‑term client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and tailored commodity solutions.
• Analyze commodity market trends and regulatory changes to inform business strategies.
• Manage and develop teams, overseeing performance, recruitment, learning and development.
• Drive change management initiatives, ensuring best practices and standards are applied.
• Develop and oversee policies, procedures and controls for the commodity financing area.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in commodity financing or related financial services.
• Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans.
• Strong client‑relationship management and business development track record.
• Deep understanding of commodity market dynamics and regulatory environment.
• Leadership experience with a focus on team performance and development.
• Experience managing change initiatives and implementing governance frameworks.
