Senior Hook‑Up Engineer – EPC Projects

About the role

The Senior Hook‑Up Engineer will lead the hook‑up discipline, supporting the Hook‑Up Lead and Manager to deliver construction and completion campaigns during the hook‑up phase. This senior position solves complex engineering problems and ensures timely project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review hook‑up job cards, ensuring prerequisites and sequential installations are defined.
• Develop the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for the discipline and create detailed hook‑up schedules.
• Review construction work packs, design Material Take‑Offs (MTOs), and verify offshore contingencies.
• Coordinate material deliveries to on‑site locations and liaise with warehouse, fabrication, and material teams.
• Maintain progress registers, constructability logs, and risk assessments, reporting daily to planners.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and collaborate with project management and procurement for resource availability.

Required profile

• Senior engineering professional with experience leading hook‑up activities on on‑shore and offshore projects.
• Proven ability to manage complex schedules, material logistics, and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Strong understanding of industry codes, standards, and safety requirements.
