Senior HR Business Partner (Automotive)

About the role

The Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) will act as the primary HR advisor for the automotive business unit, overseeing the full employee lifecycle and leading the Group’s Learning & Development and performance management strategies. This individual contributor role requires a seasoned HR generalist with strong recruitment expertise and the ability to design and implement group‑wide L&D and performance frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Design and own the annual Learning & Development strategy, conduct needs analysis, manage vendors, and measure training ROI.
• Develop, roll out, and administer the Group performance management cycle, including goal setting, SMART goals, balanced scorecards, and calibration.
• Lead end‑to‑end talent acquisition for specialized, technical, and senior positions, maintaining ATS/HRIS pipelines and agency relationships.
• Coordinate onboarding, employee lifecycle transactions, and offboarding while ensuring accurate HRIS records.
• Serve as the first HR point of contact for business leaders, providing workforce planning, headcount tracking, and advisory support.
• Handle routine employee relations queries, apply UAE labour law consistently, and escalate complex matters.
• Maintain HR data integrity in the HRIS and produce regular reports for leadership.

Required profile

• Minimum 7‑10 years of HR generalist experience, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing sector.
• Proven track record in full‑cycle recruitment and talent acquisition.
• Experience designing and delivering L&D programs and managing performance management frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of UAE labour legislation and HR compliance.
• Excellent stakeholder management and advisory skills.
