Senior Infrastructure and Technology Engineer

About the role

The Senior Infrastructure & Technology Engineer will maintain, support and continuously improve the technology environment for a leading international event technology company across the Middle East. You will provide hands‑on expertise in infrastructure, networking, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, cybersecurity, business applications and end‑user computing while delivering 2nd and 3rd line support to employees and senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure reliable, secure and resilient IT services across the region.
• Deliver local and regional technology projects, driving automation and process improvement.
• Evaluate emerging technologies such as AI and Microsoft Copilot.
• Coordinate with local and international vendors and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd line technical support to end users and senior management.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in senior infrastructure, systems or technology operations.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows Server, enterprise networking, cloud technologies, Active Directory and Entra ID.
• Proven track record delivering infrastructure projects and troubleshooting complex issues.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Experience with cybersecurity, AV technologies, automation, AI tools, ITIL or Cisco is a plus.
