Senior Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to own and manage the regional IT infrastructure for a global leader in immersive technology. Based in Dubai, you will work closely with global IT teams, local stakeholders and external vendors to ensure reliable, secure and high‑performing services across the Middle East.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and support core infrastructure, networking and platforms (Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, enterprise networking, system monitoring, hardware lifecycle).
• Provide 2nd/3rd line support, assist the Helpdesk, handle onboarding/off‑boarding, troubleshoot end‑user devices and meeting‑room technology.
• Lead local infrastructure projects, automate manual processes and introduce emerging technologies such as AI‑enabled tools and Microsoft Copilot.
• Support cybersecurity activities (vulnerability remediation, endpoint and email security, compliance, security awareness).
• Build strong relationships with employees, department heads, global IT and vendors, communicating clearly with technical and non‑technical audiences.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in senior infrastructure, systems or technology operations.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory and Entra ID.
• Hands‑on experience with enterprise networking (Fortigate, UniFi, Cisco switching, wireless APs, VLANs, VPNs, structured cabling).
• Experience with end‑user platforms (Windows 11, meeting‑room tech, printers, devices).
• Familiarity with cloud and business applications (Business Central, EasyJob ERP, ServiceNow, Atera, Smartsheet, Dropbox Enterprise, HubSpot).
• Experience with cybersecurity tools (CrowdStrike, Proofpoint, MFA, endpoint and email security).
