Senior IT Audit – Audit & Assurance (Dubai)

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a Senior IT Audit professional to join its Audit & Assurance practice in Dubai. In this role you will work closely with financial audit teams to integrate IT audit procedures, ensuring that technology risks are identified and mitigated for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with financial audit teams to understand business processes and define the scope of IT audit procedures.
• Prepare and communicate the IT audit plan, budget and timelines to the IT Audit Manager.
• Execute fieldwork including IT risk assessments, testing of automated and application controls, general IT controls, interface controls and system‑generated reports.
• Document findings, prepare risk mitigation recommendations and report issues to senior management and client personnel.
• Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and delivery of high‑quality service.
• Manage multiple concurrent engagements across various industries while adhering to Deloitte policies and professional standards.
• Report engagement status to managers and senior managers and support client expectations management.

Required profile

• Significant experience in IT audit, preferably within a professional services environment.
• Ability to lead engagements, manage timelines and deliver high‑quality work products.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with a focus on client interaction.
• Understanding of Deloitte’s purpose, values and commitment to integrity and inclusion.
