Senior IT Operations Engineer (M365, Identity, Endpoint, AI)

About the role

You will be the primary owner of the organisation's end‑user computing, identity, collaboration, productivity and AI platforms. This senior position blends engineering, administration, architecture, support, governance and continuous improvement in a technology‑driven fintech environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own the architecture, configuration, administration and continuous improvement of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
• Manage and optimise Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online and OneDrive.
• Lead endpoint management across Windows, macOS, iOS and Android devices.
• Administer enterprise identity platforms including Okta and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Support and enhance Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) and Zero Trust solutions such as Zscaler.
• Drive workplace technology initiatives focused on automation, user experience, productivity and security.
• Deploy, govern and promote adoption of enterprise AI tools like Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise and Claude.
• Develop platform standards, operational documentation, policies and technical roadmaps.
• Partner with Cyber Security, Infrastructure, Product and Engineering teams to ensure compliance.
• Act as escalation point for complex issues and lead platform upgrades, migrations and transformations.

Required profile

• 5‑10+ years of experience in IT Operations, Systems Engineering, Workplace Technology or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Background in fintech, financial services, investment management or other highly regulated environments.
• Proven ability to manage large‑scale Microsoft 365 and identity solutions.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and experience driving automation and service‑delivery improvements.
