Senior Manager – Controlling (Corporate Services, GBS)

About the role

The Senior Manager – Controlling at Al Futtaim’s Global Treasury Centre supports the Head of Controlling in driving treasury governance, transformation, AI innovation and financial reporting across a complex, multinational organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead development and continuous improvement of Treasury governance frameworks, policies, SOPs, SLAs, DOAs and RACI matrices.
• Drive treasury transformation initiatives such as cash pooling, in‑house bank, trade‑finance digitisation and technology projects, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery.
• Establish and oversee Treasury AI governance, ensuring compliance with stage‑gate processes and adoption of AI‑enabled reporting and analytics.
• Oversee preparation, review and analysis of Treasury reports, P&L, balance‑sheet positions and operating costs, providing actionable insights to management.
• Act as primary contact for internal and external audits, maintaining a strong control environment and achieving zero repeat high‑risk observations.

Required profile

• CA, CFA, CPA or equivalent certification required; additional treasury coursework (ACT or similar) is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing treasury operations and controls in a large organization.
