Senior Manager – Controlling (Corporate Services, GBS)

About the role

The Senior Manager – Controlling supports the Head of Controlling at the Global Treasury Centre, driving governance, transformation and AI‑enabled innovation across treasury functions. The role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on reporting and audit responsibilities within a large, complex organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and continuously improve treasury governance frameworks, policies, SOPs, SLAs, DOAs and RACI matrices.
• Lead treasury transformation projects such as cash pooling, in‑house banking, trade‑finance digitisation and technology initiatives, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery.
• Establish and monitor AI governance for treasury, partnering with EIT and the AI office to deploy AI‑driven reporting and analytics.
• Oversee preparation, review and analysis of treasury reports, P&L, balance‑sheet positions and operating costs, providing actionable insights to management.
• Act as primary contact for internal and external audits, maintain a strong control environment and achieve zero repeat high‑risk audit observations.

Required profile

• Professional qualification such as CA, CFA, CPA or equivalent; treasury coursework (ACT) is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing treasury operations and controls in a large organisation.
• Advanced knowledge of analytical treasury processes, banking, hedging and trade finance.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, particularly SAP TRM, and data‑visualisation tools like Power BI.
