Senior Manager - Cyber Security Engineers

About the role

Operating from Abu Dhabi since 1985, our client is a leading banking institution that requires resilient technology and secure digital operations. The Senior Manager – Cyber Security Engineers will lead the development and operation of a continuous security‑validation capability across the banking environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the strategy, roadmap and day‑to‑day operation of continuous cyber security control validation.
• Direct automated testing across cloud platforms, enterprise infrastructure, AI applications, large‑language‑model use cases and model supply chains.
• Translate threat intelligence and approved adversarial scenarios into repeatable automated tests.
• Guide engineering delivery and coordinate with security governance stakeholders.
• Maintain an effective first‑line validation model while preserving the second‑line independent red‑team function.
• Ensure security findings are resolved before material changes are approved for release.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in cyber security engineering teams.
• Ability to combine strategic direction with technical credibility.
• Experience establishing measurable operating standards and executive‑level reporting.
• Strong coordination skills with security governance and engineering delivery.
