Senior Manager – Investment & Asset Management

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join the Investment and Asset Management team in Dubai, overseeing hotel and investment portfolios for the Shangri‑La Group.

Key responsibilities

• Support active management of the hotel/investment portfolio, monitor financial and operational performance, and identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and profitability.
• Lead or support Asset Enhancement Initiatives and repositioning projects, including market/competitor analysis, business case development, and capital planning.
• Conduct investment analysis, financial modelling and valuation for acquisitions, disposals and other strategic opportunities.
• Review annual valuations and capital expenditure requests for hotels and investment properties.
• Prepare investment papers, portfolio reviews and materials for senior management and approval committees.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential HMA opportunities, conducting market, site and competitive assessments.
• Prepare RFP responses, proposals, recommendations and presentations for senior management and prospective owners.
• Support HMA negotiations, due diligence, deal structuring and commercial terms.
• Lead or support internal approval processes and maintain relationships with owners and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, Hospitality or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in a comparable investment or asset management role, preferably within a 5‑star hotel environment.
