Senior Manager – Procurement (Food & Beverage) – UAE Nationals

About the role

An opportunity has become available within Sourcing Solutions for the position of Senior Manager – Procurement Delivery (Food) for UAE Nationals. The role drives supplier performance across food procurement, ensuring external partners meet Emirates Flight Catering’s expectations for quality, service, value, reliability and compliance while supporting a resilient and efficient food supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Lead supplier performance management across food procurement categories, establishing and monitoring appropriate KPIs and SLAs.
• Track, evaluate and report supplier performance to ensure quality, service and value standards are consistently achieved.
• Work closely with food suppliers to address performance gaps and lead corrective and continuous improvement actions.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to enhance reliability, innovation and EKFC’s position as a Customer of Choice.
• Drive execution of strategic objectives for supplier performance through measurable action plans.
• Engage with stakeholders to ensure contract compliance while maximising value for money.
• Identify opportunities to engage SME suppliers and support sustainable procurement practices.
• Lead, coach and develop the Procurement Delivery team, establishing clear objectives and development plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline; Supply Chain, Procurement or related field preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of procurement experience, with substantial managerial responsibility.
• Strong food procurement and supplier management experience, preferably in aviation catering, large‑scale food production or FMCG.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and manage supplier KPIs and SLAs and drive performance improvement.
• Experience with contract management and commercial negotiations.
• Familiarity with ERP platforms, especially Oracle.
• Experience managing international supply chains and logistics is advantageous.
• MCIPS or equivalent procurement certification preferred.
• Knowledge of Lean Supply and/or Six Sigma methodologies is an advantage.
