Senior Manager - Projects

About the role

The Senior Manager – Projects will lead end‑to‑end delivery of critical IT programs, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role coordinates stakeholders, vendors and delivery teams while guaranteeing safe deployment, operational hand‑over and measurable adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own delivery strategy for enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, HCM, SaaS) using agile, waterfall or hybrid approaches.
• Establish project governance, including steering committees, change control, RAID management and acceptance criteria.
• Manage vendor contracts, SOW/SLA compliance, milestone tracking and commercial reporting.
• Lead discovery workshops, capture functional and non‑functional requirements, and create baseline schedules, budgets and resource plans.
• Oversee system design, configuration, integration, testing (UAT), data migration, cut‑over and go‑live activities.
• Ensure service transition through training, knowledge transfer, SOP creation and hyper‑care support.
• Drive process improvements such as standardised delivery templates, change‑control enhancements and definition‑of‑done criteria.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field; PMP, PRINCE2 and Agile certifications (CSM/PSM/SAFe) required.
• Minimum 10 years of experience delivering enterprise application programs with full ownership of scope, schedule and budget; 15 years preferred.
