Senior Mechanical Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer with more than 15 years of experience in Oil & Gas EPC projects to join a high‑profile ADNOC on‑shore assignment. The role involves supervising and coordinating all mechanical activities on site, ensuring safe and efficient execution of construction, installation, testing, pre‑commissioning and commissioning tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate mechanical construction and installation activities at the project site.
• Review and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, method statements and project requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering, construction, commissioning, QA/QC and subcontractor teams.
• Monitor installation of static and rotating equipment, tanks, pressure vessels, pumps, compressors and related systems.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC standards, approved drawings, specifications and HSE requirements.
• Track subcontractor productivity, progress and quality.
• Participate in inspections, testing, pre‑commissioning, commissioning and system hand‑over.
• Review RFIs, technical queries, site instructions and engineering changes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas, petrochemical or industrial EPC projects.
• ADNOC approved status and hands‑on experience on major on‑shore projects.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and resolve technical issues on site.
