Senior Mechanical Engineer – Maintenance

About the role

Julphar is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead maintenance activities for pharmaceutical production equipment. The role ensures reliable operation, compliance with GMP standards, and continuous improvement of manufacturing assets.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on tablet, liquid, and semi‑solid dosage equipment.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Support equipment qualification (IQ, OQ, PQ) and maintain related documentation.
• Coordinate maintenance planning with Production, QA, and Engineering, including shutdown schedules.
• Monitor spare‑parts inventory and trigger procurement as needed.
• Participate in internal and external audits, addressing maintenance‑related observations.
• Lead continuous‑improvement projects to boost equipment efficiency and reduce downtime.

Required profile

• Mechanical Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of maintenance experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of GMP and regulatory requirements.
• Hands‑on experience with OSD manufacturing equipment.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
