Senior Mechanical PMC Supervisor – Operations Support

About the role

This senior position oversees mechanical activities on‑site for a high‑profile oil & gas client, ensuring installation, testing and commissioning meet project specifications, budgets and safety standards. You will lead contractors, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and drive performance to keep the project on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise installation, erection and maintenance of mechanical equipment such as pumps, compressors, turbines and piping systems.
• Coordinate mechanical works with civil, structural, electrical and instrumentation teams, resolving site issues and interfacing with vendors.
• Monitor hydrostatic/pneumatic testing, flushing and reinstatement activities and ensure readiness for pre‑commissioning and commissioning.
• Enforce strict health, safety and environmental compliance, conduct toolbox talks and corrective actions.
• Lead QA/QC inspections, close non‑conformances, oversee welding quality and NDT activities.
• Track progress against schedule, prepare regular reports and manage workforce productivity.

Required profile

• Diploma with a minimum of 15 years of oil and gas industry experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
