Senior Mechanical QC Engineer

About the role

The Senior Mechanical QC Engineer will lead mechanical quality activities on oil and gas EPC projects in Abu Dhabi. You will ensure that all mechanical works meet project specifications, approved drawings, international standards and ADNOC requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise mechanical QC activities across fabrication, installation, erection and testing phases.
• Review and implement Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements and quality procedures.
• Conduct inspections of mechanical equipment, piping, structural components and related works.
• Review material certificates, inspection reports and test records; raise, monitor and close NCRs.
• Coordinate with construction, engineering, subcontractors and client/consultant representatives.
• Maintain accurate quality records and support preparation of mechanical quality dossiers and handover documents.
• Provide technical guidance to QC inspectors and construction teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Senior‑level mechanical QC experience on Oil & Gas EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of ADNOC requirements and relevant international standards.
• Experience with storage tank projects is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to work with EPC contractors, subcontractors and client/consultant teams.
