Senior MLRO & Compliance Officer – ADGM Broker Dealer

About the role

We are looking for a senior MLRO & Compliance Officer to lead the compliance and financial crime function for our ADGM‑licensed broker‑dealer entity. The role combines the responsibilities of a Money Laundering Reporting Officer and a Compliance Officer, ensuring the firm meets FSRA expectations while supporting business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and oversee the compliance function in line with FSRA Rules, FSMR, MIR and related regulations.
• Develop and maintain policies, procedures and monitoring programmes, including trade surveillance, conflicts of interest management and conduct rules.
• Provide independent compliance advice to the Board and senior management and report material issues promptly.
• Conduct regular compliance reviews, testing and gap analyses to assess control effectiveness.
• Liaise with the FSRA on compliance matters and ensure timely remediation of regulatory findings.
• Act as the Money Laundering Reporting Officer, overseeing AML monitoring, reporting suspicious activity and maintaining AML policies.

Required profile

• Extensive knowledge of ADGM/FSRA regulatory framework and broker‑dealer compliance requirements.
• Proven experience in a senior compliance or MLRO role within a financial services environment.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to work closely with trading, product and operations teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with a proactive approach to risk mitigation.
