Senior Network Architect

About the role

DarkMatter is seeking a Senior Network Architect to lead the design and evolution of its enterprise networking estate. You will work closely with internal teams and external vendors to deliver secure, high‑performance solutions across data centers, WAN, DMZ and internet segments.

Key responsibilities

• Support budgeting for all networking initiatives.
• Coordinate with vendors on solution design and impact on the existing estate.
• Redesign existing networking solutions and plan estate upgrades.
• Design and architect overall solution specifications.
• Evaluate and select hardware/software, recommending integration methods.
• Ensure alignment with organization security policies and guidelines.
• Design ICT networking solutions for complex and sensitive environments.

Required profile

• 10+ years of overall IT experience, with at least 5 years as a network architect.
• Expertise in large‑scale enterprise data‑center, WAN, DMZ and internet network design.
• Extensive experience with IP network service architectures, public, private, hybrid and NaaS models.
• Proven ability to work with vendors and manage disaster‑recovery data‑center projects.
• Strong technical presentation skills.

Required skills

• Cisco Nexus and Catalyst switches.
• Cisco ASR1k and ISR routers.
• F5 and Citrix NetScaler load balancers.
• Deep knowledge of Data Center L2/L3 technologies, storage networking, automation and orchestration.
• TOGAF certification.
• CCIE Routing & Switching.
