Senior Network Engineer

About the role

Emtech is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to lead the design, implementation and support of enterprise network infrastructures across its Dubai operations. The successful candidate will work closely with customers and internal teams to ensure reliable, secure and high‑performance connectivity.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, maintain and troubleshoot LAN and WAN environments.
• Manage Cisco, Aruba and Alcatel switching platforms.
• Implement and support Fortinet firewalls, VPNs, NAT and security policies.
• Work with VLAN, STP, OSPF, BGP, ACL and link aggregation technologies.
• Diagnose connectivity, latency, packet loss and VPN issues.
• Perform firmware upgrades, configuration backups and preventive maintenance.
• Lead network implementation, migration and infrastructure upgrade projects.
• Coordinate with ISPs and OEM support for technical escalations.
• Maintain accurate network documentation and produce incident and root‑cause reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of enterprise networking experience.
• CCNA or CCNP certification.
• Valid UAE driving licence.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent customer communication and technical documentation skills.
