Senior Operator – Process Plant

About the role

The Senior Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring and controlling assigned plant units to ensure products meet specifications while adhering to company and HSE standards. The role focuses on maximizing plant yield, maintaining safety, and supporting continuous improvement of process efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Operate control panels and Integrated Control System to manage speeds, temperatures, pressures and flow rates.
• Log operating incidents, perform routine equipment checks, and coordinate maintenance activities.
• Supervise contractors, authorize work permits and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Act as Auxiliary Fireman or Site Safety Officer during emergencies according to the Facility Response Plan.
• Monitor instrumentation, diagnose abnormal situations and adjust operations to maintain product quality.
• Prepare and add chemicals, adjust dosing rates and ensure correct chemical usage following HSE procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of functional tests, change‑over routines and verification tasks.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience operating plant equipment and control systems.
• Strong understanding of HSE requirements and emergency response procedures.
• Ability to supervise and coordinate with contractors and cross‑functional teams.
