Senior Planning Manager

About the role

Currie & Brown is seeking a Senior Planning Manager to lead high‑value construction projects in Dubai. You will be responsible for delivering robust programme management, ensuring timely project delivery and supporting the team with expert planning and control insights.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and manage the master programme for complex projects.
• Monitor and report on all programme‑related activities on an ongoing basis.
• Conduct detailed reviews of contractor programmes and ensure compliance with project procedures.
• Oversee permitting and authority approval processes.
• Prepare baseline, monthly, weekly and quantity reports, including recovery plans where needed.
• Provide the Project Manager with progress updates, completion forecasts, critical‑path and trend analyses.
• Assess the impact of changes, productivity variations and perform "what‑if" scenario analysis.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager, Engineer and Contractor to resolve scheduling issues.
• Review contractor claims and produce recommendation reports.

Required profile

• Experience on high‑end mixed‑use construction projects.
• BSc in a relevant discipline.
• Significant pre‑contract and post‑contract planning experience on major projects.
• Background in delay analysis/delay management or general planning/project controls.
• Strong technical writing, communication and client‑facing abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Primavera P6.
