Senior Platform Engineer (Azure Focus)

About the role

Dicetek LLC is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design, build and scale an Azure AI Platform that will be delivered as a reusable enterprise product for a large financial organization. The role focuses on creating cloud‑native platform capabilities, operationalising AI services and maintaining strict security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and deploy production‑ready modular Azure AI platform capabilities, defining boundaries, tenancy patterns and scaling models.
• Build shared AI service capabilities (Azure OpenAI, AI Search, Document Intelligence) as platform products with standardized APIs, SDKs and reference implementations.
• Create reusable Terraform modules and policy‑as‑code to provision resources with built‑in networking, identity, security, tagging and observability.
• Provide self‑service provisioning via GitHub Actions or platform APIs, enabling teams to request standardized infrastructure patterns.
• Engineer production runtimes on AKS and Azure Container Apps for APIs, agents and asynchronous workloads, and manage API lifecycles with Azure APIM and Kong.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience with Azure Cloud Platform and enterprise‑grade cloud architecture.
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and GitHub Actions, including modular design and automated testing.
• Deep hands‑on experience with AKS, Azure Container Apps, Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI and API Management solutions.
• Strong background in networking (VNETs, peering, firewalls, private links) and identity/private networking.
• Proven ability to translate security, risk and compliance requirements into automated platform controls.
