Senior Process Engineer – Oil & Gas EPC Midstream

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Process Engineer with 10‑15 years of oil and gas midstream EPC experience to lead process design, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and mentor junior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and collaborate with the process lead/discipline manager to define project objectives.
• Provide process engineering input to design activities and interface with other disciplines, vendors, and required parties.
• Ensure deliverables are technically accurate, within scope, budget, schedule, and comply with quality procedures.
• Mentor junior process engineers and foster a strong team environment.
• Execute feasibility studies, conceptual design, and process studies; develop key design documents such as heat & material balances, PFDs, P&IDs, and datasheets.
• Represent the project in technical design reviews (P&ID, HAZOP, SIL, HAZID) and client/vendor meetings.

Required profile

• 10‑15 years of relevant experience in oil and gas midstream EPC projects.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Strong communication, organization, and action‑oriented mindset.
• Fluent English, both verbal and written.

Required skills

• Process design software: HYSYS, FlareNet, ProMax.
• Line hydraulics, pump and control valve sizing, PSV sizing, blowdown and equipment sizing.
• Knowledge of industry standards: API, Shell DEP, Saudi ARAMCO, ADNOC.
• Experience with gas treatment, oil treatment, and produced water treatment packages.
• Technical report writing, scopes of work, and handling technical queries.
