Senior Production Assembler

About the role

POWERTECH is seeking a Senior Production Assembler to join its Final Assembly Line (FAL) in Abu Dhabi. You will lead complex mechanical assembly of propulsion systems and aerospace components, ensuring high‑quality output and compliance with engineering specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Perform complex mechanical assembly and integration of engines, propulsion systems, and related aerospace parts.
• Interpret engineering drawings, assembly procedures, BOMs and technical documentation.
• Assemble precision mechanical parts, structures, piping, brackets and sub‑assemblies.
• Support FAL production targets, identify and escalate assembly issues, and assist in troubleshooting non‑conformities.
• Use and maintain torque tools, pneumatic tools, measuring instruments and lifting equipment safely.
• Follow approved work instructions, SOPs and quality procedures; complete production records accurately.
• Provide on‑job guidance to junior assemblers and help coordinate daily assembly activities.

Required profile

• Diploma or technical certification in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology or Aerospace Manufacturing.
• 5–8 years of assembly experience in aerospace, aviation, defence, automotive or heavy‑industrial manufacturing.
• Experience with propulsion systems, engines or precision assemblies is highly preferred.
• Prior work in a Final Assembly Line environment is an advantage.
