Senior Project Manager – Commercial Interior Fit‑Out

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead commercial interior fit‑out projects from concept to handover. You will be responsible for overseeing site operations, coordinating vendors and subcontractors, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end execution of commercial interior fit‑out projects, ensuring timely completion and compliance with quality standards.
• Plan and supervise site operations, allocating labour and directing a team of 3‑4 site supervisors.
• Coordinate with vendors to secure material deliveries, resolve issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor daily site activities to keep projects within scope, budget, and schedule.
• Arrange labour and subcontractor resources through approved agencies to maintain adequate on‑site workforce.
• Oversee material requisition, procurement, and delivery alignment with project timelines.
• Identify and mitigate unforeseen delays, maintaining client expectations.
• Organise site logistics, ensuring equipment is operational and used by trained personnel only.
• Enforce compliance with workmanship standards, building regulations, health‑and‑safety legislation, and quality control protocols.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation for internal and client reporting.
• Review project plans with design teams, spotting cost‑saving opportunities and construction challenges.
• Assist estimators in developing budgets and financial forecasts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience delivering commercial interior fit‑out projects (office, retail, or similar).
• Proven track record in UAE or GCC environments, preferably with DIFC or authority‑driven projects.
• Strong understanding of fit‑out execution across civil, MEP, joinery and finishes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, including IFC, shop drawings and MEP layouts.

Required skills

• Project scheduling tools such as MS Project or Primavera.
• Advanced Excel for tracking and reporting.
• Technical drawing interpretation (IFC, shop drawings, MEP layouts).
