Senior Project Manager – Complex Engineering & Energy Projects

About the role

Drakken, an international oil & gas services company, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex engineering and energy projects in Dubai. You will own the full project lifecycle, from kick‑off to successful delivery, ensuring safety, quality and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams of 5‑20 members and act as the primary point of accountability.
• Manage project execution end‑to‑end, delivering on time, within budget and to client expectations.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the main contact throughout the project.
• Select, contract and oversee suppliers and subcontractors.
• Conduct project kick‑off, progress and stakeholder meetings.
• Develop and control schedules, budgets, forecasts and project controls.
• Track progress, costs, risks, changes and overall performance.
• Handle change orders, invoicing and commercial administration.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, drawings and records.
• Support business development with proposals and estimates.
• Embed Drakken’s quality management standards and champion safe working practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex engineering or energy projects, preferably in oil & gas.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage suppliers.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting and invoicing.
• Excellent stakeholder management and client‑facing skills.
• Commitment to health, safety and quality standards.
