Senior Projects Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Projects Manager to lead complex construction projects from concept through handover. The role involves overseeing budgets, contracts, schedules and ensuring quality while coordinating with clients, consultants and contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain continuous communication with client representatives regarding project progress and concerns.
• Participate in planning and formulation of design alternatives and construction solutions.
• Develop and administer project budgets, fiscal controls, contracts and quality‑control provisions.
• Oversee day‑to‑day management of the construction project, including work sequencing to expedite delivery.
• Review and interpret architectural drawings and specifications, advising consultants and clients on required revisions.
• Ensure compliance with design specifications, client requirements, safety regulations and institutional standards.
• Inspect, approve and accept completed works, confirming conformance with building and life‑safety codes.
• Research and prepare reports on operations, equipment, policies and procedures, and ensure adherence to quality, environmental, safety and occupational health policies.

Required profile

• A degree in civil engineering, project management or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 15 years of end‑to‑end experience on complex construction projects, preferably in consulting/PMC.
• Proven experience delivering residential or mid‑rise projects from design through handover.
• Strong background in report writing and contractual administration.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively.
• Hands‑on on‑site project experience covering design, construction interfaces and commissioning.
